Lucas 140 repro LUCAS 140 REPRODUCTION - NEW

A faithful reproduction of the 8" Lensed Lucas 140 headlights used on many British cars in the 1930's and 40's, including MG's, Morris, Austin etc.
These lights are made in England from brass and having been polished, are copper/nickel/chrome plated.

The reflectors are designed to accept the original style bulbs.
The cost of good original 140 headlights has shot up over the last 10 years (if you can find and for sale!)

These small headlights are for Off Road & Racing Use Only. Whilst they are "E" marked, they are not Fully Road Legal for cars, in fact the importer suggests the buyer checks to ensure they are Road Legal even for motor cycles!
The outside diameter of the rim is only 108mm and they weigh approx 620 grams each, complete with bulbs and wiring. Fitted with H4 Main Beam and Dip bulb and a side light. These do not comply with the regulations of the 750 Motor Club Race series as they insist on 5 3/4" lights.

Wipac Freeform Wipac 7" FREEFORM HEADLIGHT
The modern 'Freeform' type light has an un-patterned lens.  The optics that aim the beam and give the LH or RH Dipping's are designed into the complex reflector.
