Fibre washers are well suited to metal to metal joints and highly resistant to oils and fuels. Available in a variety of sizes they offer a good level vibration and compression resistance. Commonly used in automotive applications and for light sealing where ferrous washers are not preferred. Used correctly fibre washers can last much longer than rubber which perishes over time.
