Reproduction of the original Lucas coil fitted between the late 1930's and the mid 1950's. With screw in/acorn nut lead connection. Terminal CB is positive and SW is negative. Primary coil resistance is 3.6 ohms and secondary coil resistance 15.5 k/ohms. It is imperative that the +ve and -ve connections are made correctly. This coil is labelled for use on +ve earth vehicles, but if using on a -ve earth vehicle, connect the 12v supply to the CB terminal and the distributor points to the SW terminal. Size 180mm high, 55 mm diameter. Mounting holes 63 mm apart.
