2" (50.8mm) wide x approx 1/8" (3.25mm) thick. This product is bitumen impregnated to produce a dark brown, stiff band, to act as a damp course/cushion layer between the wood frame and the chassis, protecting the wood and steel surfaces and preventing moisture in the wood contacting the chassis.
